We think that Chania, Crete’s third largest city, is the most picturesque.  We spent a wonderful day here, wandering the labyrinth of Venetian houses and shops.  At the end of day,we walked down to the port, which the Venetians built during the 1300s to protect the city.  Today, it is animated with bars, cafés, and restaurants.  It is the perfect place to watch the sunset.
