OUR TRAVELOGUE

2007

On the way to the Peloponnese region of Greece, we had to pass through the Isthmus of Corinth, and stopped to view the awesome Corinth Canal.  While we were there, we had a chance to see a brave bungee jumper spring off a platform with a cord tied around his ankles. Then he soared into the air and bounced up and down, while hanging by the cord over the canal, the vertical sides of which rise about 270 feet above the water!
